2 WEEKS CAIRO AND NILE CRUISE COMBINED WITH EL GOUNA - ITINERARY
DAY 1 - Exciting Cairo
After arrival to Cairo we'll be picked up at the airport by our tour leader. Then we'll be checking in to our Royal 5 star De Luxe hotel. A Royal palace that once belonged to king Farouk. The night will be spent in Cairo where you can either relax or take part of the exciting night life that Cairo has to offer.
DAY 2 - Wonders of the World, The Pyramids and the Sphinx
After a lovely breakfast we'll visit the Sphinx, the famous pyramids in Giza. We spend the night in our royal palace in Cairo.
DAY 3 - The first day of the cruise on the world longest river - The Temple of Karnak and Luxor
In the morning our tour leader will pick us up and we'll drive to the airport, where we fly to Luxor. First we check in to our 5 * cruise and then you'll get a guided tour of the the temple of Karnak and Luxor. In the evening you'll get a lovely a la Carte on this amazing cruise ship that is known as one of the Niles finest. We'll spend the night on board the cruise in Luxor.
DAY 4 - Tut Ankh Amon AND The temple of Hatshepsut
After our breakfast buffet we'll visit the Valley of the Kings and queens, the place where the mighty pharaohs chose their last resting ground. The tour continuous with the burial grounds of Hatshepsut. Next we sail to Essna and spend the night on board the Cruise
DAY 5 - Kom Ombo and The AMAZING Temple of Hours
In the morning we'll continue sailing along the river to Egypt's best preserve temple, the temple of Hours and is the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak. In the courtyard you will se the impressive black granite statues of Hours. Then we set sail for Kom Ombo and visit the only double temple in Egypt, with one side dedicated to the god Haroesis and the other side to Sobek. The design is almost perfectly symmetrical.
DAY 6 - The Beautiful island of Philae
We continue sailing to the Aswan Dam and the Island of Philae where you'll find Egypt's most beautiful temple, the temple of Isis. Here we'll also se the originally two granite obelisks. The evening is free to enjoy your last night on this fantastic vessel or take a stroll in Aswan.
DAY 7 - THE Botanical Gardens
After a wonderful breakfast buffet we sailed around the Aswan Botanical Gardens in a Egyptian felucca. Then we will travel by bus to El Gouna, a breath taking Red Sea resort surrounded by the Red Sea and beautiful lagoons. Here we'll check in to our 5 star hotel
DAY 8 - The Red Sea coast iN El -Gouna
The days are free to relax on the beautiful private beaches and explore the amazing Red Sea and its many treasures. The hotel offers numerous activities for both young and old.
DAY 9 - THE National park
If you are keen on a exciting adventure, then Discover Travel can recommend a boat trip to the National Park. Surrounded by crystal blue a ocean with coral reefs and fishes of all the colour of the rainbow is this a perfect spot for diving or snorkelling. You'll spend the night in El Gouna.
DAY 10 - The Red Sea coast
We enjoy the wonderful weather while we relax on the beaches by the exciting Red Sea.
DAY 11 - The Red Sea coast
You want some souvenirs to take home? Then visits El-Gouna's charming market streets and go out for a lovely dinner at one of El Gouna's fine restaurants.
DAY 12 - The Red Sea coast
We enjoy the wonderful weather while we relax on the beaches by the beautiful Red Sea
DAY 13 - The Red Sea coast
After a wonderful breakfast buffet we'll check out of the hotel and travel by buss trhough the desert to Cairo where we check in to our Royal 5* hotel and spend the night.
DAY 14 - THE Egyptian museum & Khan el Kalili Bazaar
This day offers an excursion to Old Cairo, Coptic Cairo and Khan El-Khalili bazaar, for a guided cultural experience.
DAY 15 - UK
After a lovely breakfast we'll be picked up by our tour leader and transferred to Cairo's international airport. Then we'll fly back to England with unforgettable memories of Egypt.
